You’ve been asking about the unspoken rules in Japan, so here they are 🙊. Today I’m walking you through 16 cultural must-knows before you even book that flight. Picture quiet train cars, no tipping, and shoes off at the door—this video drops you right into the subtle, respectful rhythm of everyday life in Japan. I’m keeping it real, casual, and honest, like we’re just chatting over coffee. Expect clean, warm visuals that feel calm and intentional, with a vibe that’s more “mindful traveler” than “tourist checklist.” You’ll walk away feeling confident, respectful, and fully prepared to blend in without the awkward moments. So hit like if this helps, save it for later, and drop a rule in the comments that surprised you the most 🎌

I swear the train etiquette is no joke lol. First time in Japan I accidentally talked on my phone and got the death stare from like three old ladies. Never again.

Okay but the queue culture is amazing. People line up like it’s a sport. Meanwhile back home it’s chaos lol.

The tipping thing is so real. I tried to leave a tip at a ramen place and the chef looked genuinely confused haha. Just don’t do it.

Anyone else find the whole "no eating while walking" rule super hard to follow? I got busted eating a taiyaki on the street and a grandma shook her head at me đź’€

omg the silent phone rule on trains is so strict. I had my volume on low for a video and this guy literally moved seats. Respect it though.
