You’ve been asking how the UK stacks up against other countries for everyday living costs—so here’s the real breakdown. 🇬🇧🌍 Picture this: I’m scrolling through grocery prices and rent numbers from different cities around the world, comparing them side by side with what I’d pay back home. There’s no travel montage, just raw data and honest real talk. The vibe is calm, reflective, almost like a late-night conversation over tea. The visuals are clean, muted tones with simple charts and slow zooms—think informative but cozy. What you’ll get? A clearer sense of where your money actually goes further, without the fluff. No promises you’ll move tomorrow, but you’ll definitely think twice about your next coffee run. Have you ever considered leaving the UK for a cheaper life abroad? Drop your thoughts below 👇

Moved to Thailand last year. My monthly bills are basically pocket change compared to London. Only downside is missing proper fish and chips haha.

I'm in Portugal right now and honestly, eating out is half the price compared to Manchester. Rent's cheaper too, but wages are lower so it balances out I guess.

Anyone else think the UK is weirdly affordable for booze but extortionate for housing? Like, priorities??
